This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. My husband loves these!
3/4 cups Butter Flavor Crisco
1 1/4 cups
firmly packed brown sugar
2 tblsp. milk
1 tblsp. vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine Butter Flavor
Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl; beat until creamy. Beat egg into mixture. Combine flour, salt and
baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded heaping
teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies or
11-13 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes; remove to cooling rack. Makes approx. 3 dozen cookies.
